Associates are lay women and men who live out the mission and spirit of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in their everyday lives. Each associate uses their individual and unique talents to help address changing needs, serving in their local communities and beyond. Food for the soul in Magnolia, Mississippi

Recently retired and with the support of their parish, Glenn, with the help of his wife Associate Christine, started cooking a free meal once a month for anyone that passed by the parish hall in Magnolia, Mississippi. Wisconsin — When Sister Mariel Kreuziger starts talking about the SSND Associates, it is hard to contain her enthusiasm. Sister Mariel has been involved in starting two groups of associates, the first group in southeast Ohio and the current group now in Beaver Dam, Wis., about 90 minutes northwest of Milwaukee. Christina shared, “I find that being an SSND associate is a welcomed extension and meaningful link to those years I was with the SSND religious community.
