Planned Giving

The mission of the School Sisters of Notre Dame is to proclaim the good news, directing our entire lives toward that oneness for which Jesus Christ was sent. With your financial support, SSND are able to serve in a variety of ministries, helping individuals who are marginalized by serving in traditional schools, non-traditional education environments, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, parishes and agencies addressing social issues.

Did you know that making a planned gift helps secure the SSND future while helping you in return? Your generosity will provide for the needs of sisters who dedicate their lives to serve youth, women and the poor. Your planned gift will automatically enroll you into our legacy society, which is our Blessed Theresa Society, where you will be prayed for daily.

Having an estate plan may protect your assets and secure your interests and intentions. Your estate plan does not have to alter your current lifestyle and may be modified to your changing needs. It is  recommended to have a financial planner, advisor or attorney help create a legal document to meet your goals. Mary Kay Murray, Resource Development Director for the Central Pacific Province, looks forward to working with you and your financial planner or legal advisor to implement your SSND charitable goals.

The perfect option for giving

Planned gifts are an option to support the future of the School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province without using any of your assets today.

The two main reasons that make planned giving so popular are flexibility and versatility. A planned gift lets you balance your charitable goals with your future financial needs. The flexibility of an estate plan provides you with peace of mind. When it comes to your living expenses and future medical costs, your estate plan is secure should you need assets during your lifetime. The versatility allows you to name School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province, Inc. in any legal document you choose. For example, you could choose to leave a percentage of your estate to School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province, Inc. It may be difficult to predict the size of your final estate; therefore, leaving a percentage may ensure a charitable donation to the SSND mission.
