Blessed Theresa Appeal 2024 - Dallas

We invite you to celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger on May 9th, as we recognize that the mission of Jesus guides our sisters to serve in unique and creative ways throughout their entire lives.

For example, living at St. Anthony’s Gardens (SAG) has opened new opportunities for ministry as the sisters have invited lay residents to join their religious gatherings and reflection days. Sister Mary Ellen Theriot reminds us that “Whenever we minister to others, they give something back to us.” Through these activities, faith becomes the common thread that helps build meaningful connections for both sisters and residents.

People have also told us that they have moved into SAG to be surrounded by the presence of the sisters. Faith, transformative friendships, and a sense of belonging are gifts of the sisters’ ministries. The result of the sisters’ energetic spirit that resonates throughout the living center is providing inspiration for all who live there.

All of us have been directly touched by the prayers, presence and ministries of the sisters.

We come to you to ask for financial support. The need is significant for the sisters in their retirement as they continue to mentor others and provide spiritual guidance.
