The 2021 Virtual Women’s Leadership Luncheons will take place online throughout March. The four virtual events represent the Milwaukee, St. Louis, Dallas and St. Paul, Minnesota areas. The luncheon theme is Care of Creation. Speakers will provide insight on how we can all take better care of our Earth. Sisters appreciate their caregivers

A year after the first signs of COVID-19 and the start of social distancing, sisters are especially grateful for the staff who show up to work every day. Notre Dame of Elm Grove, Elm Grove, Wisconsin, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mankato, Minnesota, and Sancta Maria in Ripa, St. Louis, have sisters who live on site and need various degrees of support. Lent and COVID-19

As we begin this season of Lent, we may find ourselves thinking, “Haven’t these last 12 months been one long Lenten road? Haven’t we been called to sacrifice, to fast/abstain, to pray, to reach out to care for others in ways we would never have imagined?” Sister Margie Klein shares her reflection on COVID-19 and the Lenten season. She asks, “What has COVID-19 taught us about the true meaning of Lent? How has the year 2020 given us pause to reflect on the Paschal Mystery in ways that are similar to our yearly Lenten and Holy Week journey? And what does that call us to today and as we enter a new Lenten season in 2021?”
