Two Jubilarians reflect on their teaching ministries |
Sisters Nancy Becker and Rita Anne Kipka reflect on their many years of teaching. Sister Nancy is a 60-year Jubilarian and Sister Rita Anne is celebrating 50 years. “I often find myself praying to Blessed Theresa, foundress of SSND, who was indeed a gifted and visionary educator. Having completed the mission of her earthly life and longing to be with Jesus and Joseph, Mary is now reunited with her son and her husband. Alumna of Notre Dame High School Turned 100 |
SSND teachers make an impact on families generations later. One of the oldest alumna Notre Dame High School in St. Louis turned 100 on June 3. She began freshman year in 1938, when the school first opened its doors to lay students.
